An Overview of Islamic Law in the Mechanism of Individual Distribution if the Wife of the Heir is more than One

The research approach method used preparation this thesis a normative juridical method. specification uses descriptive analysis. type data secondary from legal materials form Qur'an Hadith, Civil Code, Marriage Law, Compilation Law. Collecting by studying documents or library that are collected processed systematically. results indicate that: first, acquisition rights for wives contained letter An-Nisa' verse 12 Law Article 180. After removing part joint property, rest distributed heirs. If leaves children, wife's share 1/8 does not leave inheritance.
